LONDON-There are four mouth-watering football clashes for you to follow on SuperSport this weekend:

Chelsea v Liverpool, Saturday, KO at 6:30pm CAT

The Premier League will dish up another highly anticipated clash this weekend in the form of a Chelsea v Liverpool duel, live across SuperSport’s multiple platforms.

Premier League live coverage on Saturday starts at 1:30pm with a clash between West Ham United and Manchester United with Chelsea v Liverpool the last match of the day.

Both Chelsea and Liverpool are unbeaten so far, this season in the league. The Reds are the only side who still have a 100 percent winning record – six wins out of six while the Blues have won five of their six and drawn one.

The two crossed swords in a domestic competition on Wednesday and Chelsea emerged 2-1 winners at Anfield. That outcome presented Jurgen Klopp with another worrying stat to mull over – their inability to stop Chelsea from scoring.

The Reds go into Saturday’s home match knowing they have not been able to prevent the Blues from rattling their net in their last 14 league matches.

SuperSport United v Cape Town City, Saturday, KO at 7pm CAT

All South African roads lead to the Moses Mabhida Stadium on Saturday for the first domestic Cup Final of the season. For those not heading to Durban, their eyes will be glued to their screens as SuperSport United look to defend their MTN8 crown against Cape Town City.

The 2018 MTN8 final has been widely billed as ‘Act II’ of the battle between SuperSport United and Cape Town City following last season’s epic final. The match ended 1-1 in regulation time and Matsatsantsa went on to win it 4-2 on penalties.

At stake will be the prestigious trophy together with R8 million prize money for the winner. The loser goes home with thjeir tail between their legs . . .

Both teams are deserving 2018 finalists after claiming some big scalps on their way to the final. SuperSport accounted for the two Soweto giants — Orlando Pirates in the quarterfinals and Kaizer Chiefs (in the semifinals).

Benni McCarthy’s Cape Town City also had their own big fish to fry along the way — Maritzburg United in their quarterfinals and then Sundowns in the semis.

The public’s interest has no doubt been piqued – will Matsatsantsa defend their MTN8 crown or will The Citizens pull a fast one on them? Find out, nly on SuperSport.

Real Madrid v Atletico Madrid, Saturday, KO at 8:45pm CAT

Real Madrid are walking wounded following an embarrassing 3-0 defeat at Sevilla. On the other hand, their city rivals Atletico are walking with their tails up following a 3-0 success against Huesca.

Those results left Atletico two points behind leaders Barcelona and Real Madrid at this very early stage of the LaLiga title race.

It’s a perfect stage for a classic Madrid derby when the two square off at Estadio Santiago Bernabéu on Saturday.

SuperSport will bring that action live across all its digital platforms.

Juventus v Napoli, Saturday, KO at 6pm CAT

A potential Serie A classic is in the offing with leaders Juventus playing host to second-placed Napoli.

Both sides had positive results in their respective midweek matches but it’s Juventus who will have a spring in their step. Their 2-0 win over Bologna on Wednesday extended their perfect run — six wins out of six for a tally of 18 points.

But Juve are feeling the breath of Napoli on their necks, as they are just three points behind following a 3-0 win over promoted Parma on Wednesday.

Napoli won last season’s second-round match against Juventus 1-0 with the first-round match going to Juve by a the same scoreline. Overall the two have met 32 times with Juventus winning 15 and Napoli 12, with five draws. A massive game this early in the season, and Cristiano Ronaldo will no doubt have a part to play.

There will be three Serie A matches on Saturday with six on Sunday and one on Monday night. SuperSport
