The two crossed swords in a domestic competition on Wednesday and Chelsea emerged 2-1 winners at Anfield. That outcome presented Jurgen Klopp with another worrying stat to mull over – their inability to stop Chelsea from scoring.
The Reds go into Saturday’s home match knowing they have not been able to prevent the Blues from rattling their net in their last 14 league matches.

Benni McCarthy’s Cape Town City also had their own big fish to fry along the way — Maritzburg United in their quarterfinals and then Sundowns in the semis.

Real Madrid v Atletico Madrid, Saturday, KO at 8:45pm CAT
Real Madrid are walking wounded following an embarrassing 3-0 defeat at Sevilla. On the other hand, their city rivals Atletico are walking with their tails up following a 3-0 success against Huesca.
Those results left Atletico two points behind leaders Barcelona and Real Madrid at this very early stage of the LaLiga title race.
It’s a perfect stage for a classic Madrid derby when the two square off at Estadio Santiago Bernabéu on Saturday.
SuperSport will bring that action live across all its digital platforms.
Juventus v Napoli, Saturday, KO at 6pm CAT
A potential Serie A classic is in the offing with leaders Juventus playing host to second-placed Napoli.
Both sides had positive results in their respective midweek matches but it’s Juventus who will have a spring in their step. Their 2-0 win over Bologna on Wednesday extended their perfect run — six wins out of six for a tally of 18 points.
But Juve are feeling the breath of Napoli on their necks, as they are just three points behind following a 3-0 win over promoted Parma on Wednesday.
Napoli won last season’s second-round match against Juventus 1-0 with the first-round match going to Juve by a the same scoreline. Overall the two have met 32 times with Juventus winning 15 and Napoli 12, with five draws. A massive game this early in the season, and Cristiano Ronaldo will no doubt have a part to play.
There will be three Serie A matches on Saturday with six on Sunday and one on Monday night. SuperSport
