Katanga High School 0-0 Takwirira High School
(Katanga won 3-0 on penalties)
KATANGE High School goalkeeper Arnold Tinarwo was the star of the day when he saved two penalties as his school lifted the Sports Excellence Trust Cyclone Idai football trophy at Takwirira High School in Chisumbanje on Sunday morning.
The tournament started in October with an initial eight teams-four from schools and four from community before the weekend finals.
After a goalless stalemate after 60 minutes of play, the final went straight to the dreaded lottery with Tinarwo saving two successive penalties before the third hit the cross bar to spark wild celebrations.

Shaun Ngwenyani was named the man of the match and earned himself a ticket to trials at the Aces Youth Academy in Harare starting next week.

Katanga’s stocky Obey Musemura was the best player for the winners, but lanky Ngwenyani won the votes to claim the man of the match and a ticket to Aces.
